NPHC Together with ECDC Experts Assess Activities Related to COVID-19 Case Management
On 14-15 November, experts from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, the Municipal administrations of Vilnius and Kaunas, the National Public Health Laboratory, the Lithuanian Armed Forces medical service, and the Riflemen's Union volunteers (who were assisting NPHC in managing the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 during the pandemic) met together at the National Public Health Centre in Vilnius.
The aim of the meeting was to assess the activities, identify best practices, gaps, maintain, improve, and validate positive developments, thereby improving preparedness for future outbreaks, epidemics, and pandemics.
