False and Misleading Information Being Disseminated in the Name of the NPHC Regarding Rodent Control Activities
The National Public Health Centre under the Ministry of Health (NPHC) has received information that false and misleading information is being disseminated in the name of the NPHC regarding alleged rodent control (deratization) activities and the distribution of rodent poison in public areas.
NPHC informs the public that it does not carry out rodent control (deratization) activities, and that the information provided in the circulated material is false.
We emphasize that NPHC does not distribute notifications to residents regarding planned or ongoing rodent control activities in specific territories or buildings. Responsibility for organizing and implementing pest control measures lies with the managers or administrators of territories and buildings, as well as Municipalities. These services are provided by licensed pest control companies.
