Children Will Return to Kindergarten in Kruonis Only When It Is Safe
After receiving information about the burning kindergarten in Kruonis, specialists from Kaunas Department of the National Public Health Centre (NPHC) immediately contacted the kindergarten's management and informed them that education process could only be resumed after the premises had been properly cleaned and ventilated, and the air in the premises had been tested. The tests will be organised by the specialists of Kaišiadorys Division in Kaunas Department at NPHC, who are also cooperating with the kindergarten's management and advising them on proper ventilation and cleaning of the premises.
Updated information:
The school management has informed that due to fire-fighting implications, for the time being they are unable to resume educational process in the pre-school premises of the multifunctional centre. The premises need repair work and it has been decided to temporarily move the children to the main school building, hence NPHC will not organise laboratory tests due to the fire.
