Guidelines for a person who has arrived/returned from a foreign country

Having regard to the COVID-19 (coronavirus infection) epidemiological situation and aiming to counter the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus infection), you are obliged to observe the following regulations during your stay in the Republic of Lithuania:

●    Upon arrival, but not later than in 24 hour after entry into the Republic of Lithuania, to submit information to the National Public Health Centre under the Ministry of Health (hereinafter referred as NPHC) with the address of the place (-es) you intend to stay during 14 days after arrival to the Republic of Lithuania. Information is submitted by completing the Traveler Card you have received on the plane or at the border checkpoint or an electronic version of the form on the NPHC website https://keleiviams.nvsc.lt/lt/form

●    14 days after arrival to the Republic of Lithuania to monitor your state of health.  If you notice development of symptoms of disease (fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing), without any delay call the Coronavirus hotline on 1808 and present circumstances of falling sick (indicating that during the previous 14 days you have been abroad), and follow recommendations of the medical personnel. If at the expiration of the 14 day period after return/arrival to the Republic of Lithuania you have not noticed symptoms, it is considered that person has no risk of COVID-19 (coronavirus infection).

●    To wear protective equipment covering the nose and mouth (face masks, respirators or other equipment) in the places determined by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania No 207 of 14 March 2020 „Declaring Quarantine on the territory of the Republic of Lithuania”:
o    At marketplaces and other trading venues, events, excursions, public transport boarding points and public transport, and in public indoor areas.
In other cases, when wearing protective equipment covering the nose and mouth is not compulsory, it is recommended.

●    To follow common COVID-19 (coronavirus infection) prevention measures:
o    social distancing from others by 2 meters,
o    regular hand hygiene with warm water and soap,
o    if water and soap is not available – to use hand antiseptics (disinfection means) to clean hands,
o    not touching the face and eyes with hands,
o    to follow coughing and sneezing etiquette (cover your mouth with a tissue when coughing and sneezing or if you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow, not your hand).

●    If you are subject to 14 days isolation – you should strictly observe isolation rules.
