Yellow Fever Vaccine Temporarily Unavailable
Some countries require evidence of yellow fever vaccination from all entering travellers. The National Public Health Centre under the Ministry of Health (NPHC) informs that due to manufacturing difficulties, yellow fever vaccine is currently unavailable for order. According to the manufacturer's representative, delivery of the vaccine to Lithuania is expected in February.
NPHC receives inquiries from travellers as to when and where they can get yellow fever vaccination; however, NPHC is not responsible for supplies of vaccines and their shortage in medical facilities. In response to the inquiries, we constantly communicate with the representative of the vaccine manufacturer in Lithuania, so that we can provide callers with information about available alternatives.
