WHEN ARE YOU ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE PLACE OF ISOLATION?

Persons, who have arrived from abroad, with the exception of arrivals from countries from which arrivals are subject to enhanced measures, may leave the self-isolation place wearing protective equipment covering nose and mouth (face mask, respirator, etc.) in the following cases without informing the National Public Health Center:

1. To organize the funeral of a close person, the transportation of the remains and / or to attend a funeral ceremony / burial of a close person or to visit terminally ill patients;
2. To go to a healthcare institution to collect a swab specimen from the nasopharynx and pharynx for laboratory tests for COVID-19;
3. To go to medical institution for health care services;
4. To carry a person who is unable to take care of him(her)self to a medical institution to receive health care services;
5. to go to the place necessary to handle legal matters;
6. to attend own wedding;  
7. for high-performance athletes, high-performance sports specialists, high-performance sports instructors, sports medical personnel to go to high-performance sports exercises, training camps, competitions and to institutions or establishments related to their sports activities;
8.  to go to governmental institutions, establishments and organizations at their invitation;
9. After pre-registering with the Coronavirus Hotline at 1808 or after  registering with the NVSC, to go to the mobile site for swab specimen from the nasopharynx and pharynx testing for COVID-19 testing of the nasopharynx and pharynx or to transport there a person who is unable to take care of him(her)self.
10. Citizens of the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, the Principality of Andorra, the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of San Marino and the Holy See (Vatican City State) and persons legally residing in these countries, foreigners legally residing in the Republic of Lithuania, foreigners legally residing in countries which are included in the EU-level list of third countries, for the residents of which temporary restriction on non-essential travel to the EU should not be applied, when  the purpose  of their travel is related to the implementation of the work functions, may go to a place necessary for work or business.

Persons who have arrived from countries from which arrivals are subject to enhanced measures, may leave the self-isolation place wearing protective equipment covering nose and mouth (face mask, respirator, etc.) in the following cases only after informing the National Public Health Center.

Persons wishing to leave Lithuania before the end of the isolation period to the country where they live, work or where they will be provided with health care must notify the NPHC before departure.
